To have an epic time!

As much as we’re all special, individual snowflakes from different cultures and creeds, we are bound as humans by certain rules of decency and hygiene, all of which are self-explanatory

1. Respect Each Other

Living in a shared space means being considerate of everyone around you. Follow these guidelines to keep the vibe awesome for everyone

2. Keep the Common Areas and Your Room Clean

Your mom isn’t here to clean up after you, so throw rubbish into the bins and clean up after yourself

3. Keep the Bathrooms Clean

Treat the hostel bathroom like your own. Dispose of trash properly, aim well, and if you feel sick, hit the toilet—not the sink or shower

4. Don’t Hog the Bathroom

Bathrooms are limited. Keep your showers quick and make sure there’s hot water left for everyone

5. Maintain Privacy

No one wants to stumble upon your private moments. Keep romantic activities out of the dorm room. There are better places for that

6. Use Headphones

When watching movies in your room or common area. If you have to make a call, head to the common area or go outside. Turn off phone notifications at night to keep the peace

7. Be Quiet in the Dorm

People need their sleep. Keep noise to a minimum in the dorm room, especially late at night and early in the morning. Use a flashlight instead of turning on the lights

8. Lock Up Your Valuables

Use the lockers provided to keep your stuff safe. Don’t leave valuables lying around

9. Be Friendly but Respect Personal Space

Hostels are great for meeting people. Be friendly and open, but respect when others need their space or alone time

10. Follow Kitchenette / Fridge Rules

Clean up after yourself. Label your food and respect others’ labelled items. Don’t be the person who takes someone else’s snack

11. Leave Reviews

Help future travellers by leaving honest reviews of your stay. Highlight what was great and what could be improved
